The Safe Direction® Academy Pad™ ensures that dependable personal, property, and liability protection from an unintentional discharge is right where it’s needed in the home, office, during travel, or on the range.
When used according to the attached instructions, Safe Direction® Academy Pad offers comparable NIJ-IIIA ballistic protection, warranted to contain a single unintentionally discharged standard duty / defensive handgun cartridge through .45 ACP, including 9mm, .38 Special, .357 SIG, .357 Magnum, .40 S&W, .44 Magnum, and .45 ACP in both standard and +P ratings. Safe Direction® Academy Pad™ minimizes blunt trauma damage with Ballistic-Seal® energy absorbing/dispersing panel. For Handgun Use Only. The use of Armor Piercing (AP), steel core or hardened type bullets voids any and all claims stated or implied of Safe Direction® products. Replace your Safe Direction® Academy Pad™ immediately after first ballistic absorption and containment use. Actual containment and energy absorption/dispersion performance may vary due to differences in individual selection of ammunition, supporting surface, and method of use.
